I copped two blurays for $100 together last Christmas with Netflix and. I'm set for physical media, except for my next-gen gaming console. DVD's will eventually be ripped to my NAS anyhow.

I'm pretty much a gamer PS exclusively, and I see nothing negative about their return policy. I think it is actually what I would want from a company. It would be ultra convenient.
Keep Kinect, MS. I want Kinect in non-game settings. I want voice automated coffee makers, computers, and vehicles like Kitt on Knight Rider. I want facial recognition and motion sensing doors and virtual reality robot drone mechs. :-)

After tax time. A NAS and a new 'puter to pay for now. PS3 be my main console into summer - backlist of games to play. Might get an extra PS3 for my legacy collection.

I hope they don't sell the XBox because of greedy shareholders. Microsoft makes enough from licensed patents to pay for the losses from XBox every year. They did say they'd give it three tries.

I think third party exclusives are dumb on any system. It doesn't show off the system like a Halo or Uncharted, it just hurts the brand by limiting its market.
So big payoffs are involved, but it doesn't make it suck less. Being multiplat is good for the life of a game like Metal Gear and Madden. MS has some good looking 1st party games. Use that money to keep a studio alive, not feed a fat corporate cow.
